Elephant 🐘 Troubles

When life’s pain claws deep,

and our nerves scream,

when the night feels heavier

than every dream.

You want to quit,

to lay it all bare,

to tell the world

you just don’t care.

But then

a cursed little thought sneaks in,

a circus of madness,

a razor-thin grin.

That’s when I remind myself:

it’s not so bad

picture an elephant,

massive, grey, absurd,

sliding down a razor blade

don’t laugh, it’s not unheard.

His balls the brakes,

a shower of sparks,

the universe cracks up

in grotesque remarks.

And i think,

hell, my hurt still bites,

but compared to pachyderm pain

I’ll make it through tonight.
