She sighed as oceans rose up.
“Please help me. I am drowning!”
They looked –
Then walked away.
“Please, please HELP ME.”
She begged when the fires scorched her skin.
They looked and frowned –
Then they walked away.
Her voice, weaker now, sighed softly
“I am dying. Please HELP!
I cannot survive this way.
YOU, will not survive either!
PLEASE
You MUST HELP!”
They knew.
They were aware.
“We will help.” They said.
But they did not.
Now,
They are both gone.
