Aubade to follow
(Black sky to replace)
Crooked timber of man
(Let’s not forget your place)
Under nightfall—overcast,
Evening dressed to kill.
Taunts sanity with black’n days,
Daggers drawn for thrill.
Errementari, depraved heart.
Quiet, bedeviled—oh prudence
reserve… Before I go on
Let’s make things clear—
Abrade victim, martyr,
Nobility obliged.
First skin,
cloaked in shadow,
Lest you atone your lies.
Disappointment from
benighted faces.
Paramnesia begins again…
Sentient, we’ll see the end.
Errementari, depraved heart
Will warmth resound pure?
Of crooked timber—splintered,
Contrivance not a cure.
