Vision
Golden, brown, green, gray and even blue.
Hazel can contain all of these hues.
A small percent so fairly rare.
Into those eyes I could forever stare.
Don’t get me wrong, dark dark eyes often so exotic.
Caution is required for eyes can mask if what’s behind them is toxic.
Then look at those that are blind and cannot see.
Perhaps they better know what type of person we be.
Perhaps before my mine dim I will
stare longingly into another’s again.
