OH I MISS

A challenge laid down to me by my 5 year secondary English Teacher, asked for a Poem to say what aye would miss about the world if aye were to die tomorrow.

Oh aye miss

Aye miss the nip in the air on a still, sunny, frosty early winter morning

Oh aye miss

Aye miss the warm and contented feeling of my full belly, after eating the breakfast made for me, by mother before aye walk to school

Oh aye miss

Aye miss  the welcoming homely smell of a freshly brewed pot of tea, like ( it seems ) only MY MOTHER CAN

Oh aye miss

Aye miss christmas gatherings of my parents friends all deciding to go out in the cold together to have a snowball fight

Oh aye miss

Aye miss coming in from the freezing cold, to the welcome of a warm fire to slowly thaw myself  in front of

Oh aye miss

Aye miss the grip the long dark winter, moving towards the first signs of spring

Oh aye miss

Aye miss stepping out on the first true spring morning, fresh, crisp and sunny , with the sun having heat in its rays, being cast upon  my face

Oh aye miss

Aye miss spring in fullness once again, with Flowers, new leaves on the trees , and the clearly much happier and smiling folk aye meet

Oh aye miss

Aye miss the beautiful smell of fresh cut grass in the air as aye walk in the open

Oh aye miss

Aye miss, MY ABSENT FRIENDS

Oh aye do in miss  , ,Oh aye miss ,  aye miss, and always will keep on missing , ,  ,,those who are MISSING  but not forgotten .
