Enchanting Call

Before your gaze, my world did cease,

A silent plea, a sweet release.

My proudest stance, it could not hold,

A story in your eyes, untold.

Each word you spoke, a gentle chime,

Erasing all my sense of time.

My strength, it faltered,

My spirit bent,

On your affection, I was intent.

And there I knelt, upon the floor,

My heart surrendered, wanting more.

Not in defeat, but in pure awe,

Beneath your love\'s unwritten law.

My pride dissolved, a fleeting mist,

By your mere presence I was kissed.

To be so moved, to be undone,

My dearest love, you are the one.

My knees met earth, a willing fall,

To answer your enchanting call.

In humble worship, I remain, Bound by your love, again and again.

Through it all.
