William Hromada

You put a light in my soul

In the quiet of my shadowed heart,

Where silence wove its heavy art,

You came, a spark, a gentle glow,

A warmth no darkness could overthrow.

You put a light in my soul, my dear,

A flame that dances, bright and clear.

Through storm and dusk, it softly gleams,

Igniting hope, rekindling dreams.

Your laughter paints the night with stars,

Your touch dissolves my ancient scars.

Each whispered word, a tender ray,

That guides my heart to brighter days.

No winter’s chill can dim this fire,

No doubt can quell this sweet desire.

You are the dawn that breaks my night,

The endless source of my soul’s light.
