Man not yet free:
Open up your heart, jagged point inched ever so closer. The iron giant is dead but man is not yet free; man can never be free.
Blunt edges sharpen or dull from empty words,
Unknown masks you never get to look behind.
Die your child, but never your daughter.
Iron fist crashes down,
Unwilling,
Unwanted.
Not afraid, not trembling, not scared, not scared, not sat wondering when the world turns on me.
But that was too long ago.
Every mistake, every death, every time someone’s turned their back on those in need.
Built up a wall we can no longer claw through.
Man not yet free,
don’t see a reason they ever should be.
