The gravity between us

The gravity between us

Dazzling stars around me, making me hazy

Grinning smiles and charismatic aroma of livelihood

Has any phase been so gladsome lately?

I try to lure me into the abyss

Watching past in time, the shining wonders

My eyes twinkle as I discern

Wondering if you’ll be same as you look.

You’re vast and light-years away,

Making me ache you even more

But is it love or just a fancy feeling

Cause I might just worship you.

They adore your companions,

Their gaze too shallow to reach your true hue.

I’m aware you might feel given

But trust me, I hold a path that leads to you.

I hear you carry warmth,

A silence that sings a comforting hymn.

But our worlds will never match,

You feel like a ghost from the past.

The pull is enough to keep me apart.

Nature contests us to sway away

Yet you make me strained

Im burning in your waves.
