Sassy Lou

No Exodus

White nights full of reveries

My unconscious becomes the very imminence I sought to elude

Filling every crevice of my intellect

There is no spot left undefiled by the inversion of my quintessence

Slumber is no longer timorous

And time spent outside loses all connotation when the borders erase

Lassitude follows me with every turn I take

And she strives to love me as her own

But her love is erosive

Eradicating all the parts of me she\'s affected

She yearns to feel lonely together

The vacuity seeks company full of life

To drain face to face and unbecome together

With no way left to turn

I supplicate, I find equanimity in non being

If this is all that\'s left

Let quietus be kinder than man
