If ever there was a yearning star,
Companionship, apart so far.
Its light it shines, a billion miles,
Yet see\'s no friendly smiles.
Alone in space, it burns so bright,
Its twinkle, in the dark of night.
If up you look, a thousand seen,
Yet nothing, blackness, in between.
Oh star of brilliance, alone you be,
Like in the woods, a fallen tree.
Yet u shine through space with warming love,
And share your light, with all above.
