It’s close to noon, and something’s creeping through the campus green,
A hungry groan—you know the game has started once again.
You clutch your Nerf, you’re scanning all the rooftops and the quad,
You try to run, but every path is blocked by zombie squads!
You’re paralyzed—
’Cause this is campus night,
Humans vs. Zombies fight!
And no one’s gonna save you from the ghoul that’s gonna bite—
You know it’s tight,
Humans vs. Zombies night,
They’re out to tag you human-right, yeah!
You hear the hiss, the moaning voices echo through the halls,
You shoot your dart, it flies but bounces harmless off the wall.
You check your phone, your squad is down to only two or three,
You’re out of socks, and that last blaster jammed catastrophically!
They close in fast—
You’re low on foam and losing light—
You can’t outlast,
Another round, another fright!
’Cause this is campus night,
Humans vs. Zombies fight!
They’re creeping in the shadows,
Sneaking left and sneaking right!
Campus fright,
You’re running through the night,
To stay a human, gotta sprint with all your might!
The undead crawl across the dorms and down the campus mall,
There’s nowhere safe, not even by the dining hall!
Humans scream in fright,
They’ll tag you in the night—
They’re gonna get you,
Better shoot before they bite!
Darkness falls across the quad,
The foam begins to fly abroad.
Students shamble through the gloom,
Hunting humans, sealing doom.
And whosoever still survives,
Must run like mad to stay alive,
For no mere man can hope to see—
A world unbit by zomb-ie-ee-ee!
’Cause this is campus night,
Humans vs. Zombies fight!
So grab your band and blaster tight,
And join the frenzied, foam-filled fright!
’Cause this is campus night,
Humans vs. Zombies fight!
They’ll chase you screaming down the quad,
And laugh because—it’s all just fun…
For tonight!
