Silenced; Yet All Shall Be Well
Jesus speaks to the humble
Unconditional words of love.
Lucifer flammae tempestas est—
Ignited by the faithfully feckless
Against the words of acknowledgment.
Nefarious are those silencers.
Ordinary people of all genders
Find their call in God’s love.
Nox aeterna falls
On those who shun
Revelation with reckless abandon.
Whether believed or not—
Ignorance a poor excuse—
Consequences will caw.
How deep the sadness of silence.
