All the fours, forty four,
That is the number of years,
The number of years it would be,
It would be today
That Joyce and I would have been married.
But she is no longer here,
She was taken from me
And now looks down with love
After passing six years ago.
As I looked out this morning
The full moon shone on me
And I saw her face looking,
Looking on me with love,
With love and happiness
As my life is good once more,
And once more I’ve found love,
Found love with Mary.
But Joyce is still with me
As both she and Mary are there,
There in my heart and mind
And forever will be.
