That Moment

    That  Moment

I step onto the platform,

A chill rushes through me,

As I feel the weight of perfection.

It hangs in a balance,

Between wanting to please the people,

And wanting to glorify the Lord.

In my chest I feel a slight nervousness,

I feel like I look scared,

But my hands and face cannot show it.

Then in a fabulous moment,

I begin to play with the gift from God,

And the notes are perfectly there.

The fear is cast away,

All doubt is tossed in the wind,

When I worship my Savior.
