I remained still and lost,
Mind was bliss but tangled.
Self was rigid and hammered.
Yet thou unaltered.
My hands were crossed,
Gaze down in guilt.
Thou, schooling me again,
As I listened with glee.
Thy hairs are black,
Gaze sharp like a hawk,
Words from thy lips,
Softened mine heart again.
There’s touch of care,
With touch of belonging.
Left me spellbound alone,
Thou nurtured my soul again.
Pure moment of ecstasy,
Pure moment of love.
Wished this to last eternity,
Yet was like a fall of drop.
Heart in sullen, eyes in despair,
As I wake back in bed.
Alas! It was a dream,
But I lived every bit.
