Tears

Poem: \" Tears \"

This word represents

A drop of your own soul,

and conveys a thousand emotions,

A million restrained stories.

This flawless grace is a Tear.

The pearl bead flowing down,

Adorning, your cheeks and rosy lips,

They are more precious than

the worth of what made it occur.

Some say tears indicate weakness,

They are cold - hearted beings.

Do not listen to their critics,

For their words will only bring you pain.

It would make yourself another, heartless and torn spirit,

Lost in storm of emotions, unable to express.

Let those calling you weak, drown in their ignorance.

And you seek solace in the liberty of your tears.

To cry isn\'t a weakness, rather it\'s a strength given to a few.

To surface the turmoil beneath these layers of flesh and bone.

Tears can help wounds heal and the scars fade away.

You might be sceptic of my view but think about it, isn\'t it true ?

Ask your heart, unbound your mind,

Make your spirit feel this deep inside,

And maybe you\'d see why

My perspective is not blue.

Let your eyes not hold them

When they dare to experience

The freedom of the world

Beyond their own.

Trust me, you\'d find peace after the release

Like the calm after a violent storm,

This moment, you\'d realise their worth

And let them freely flow in their form .
