The higher we fly the further we fall.
It can be so fun earning your wings.
It can also take all of our favorite things.
I would rather stay grounded just knowing i flew.
We all have a choice.

I flew so high.
I fell so hard.
I no longer have wings because they were charred.
I flew to close to the sun.
Just trying to have fun.
I burnt my life up.
Yeah i think i am done.
I caused much harm.
I caused much pain.
I thought i had fun.
Yet nothing was gained.
I now stay grounded.
I picked myself up.
I value my past.
With no knot in my gut!
