\"Down for the Count\" Sonnet.

Upon the stage, where golden spotlights gleam,

“Down for the Count” began their dazzling art,

Their rhythms smooth as any midnight dream,

Each note a balm for every weary heart.

With horns that blared and vocals soaring high,

They conjured swing and jazz from days of old,

While feet would tap and spirits soon would fly,

Enraptured by their melodies so bold.

No finer band could charm both young and old,

Their energy, a wave none could withstand.

Their music into our hearts they did mould,

All marvelled at their unified command.

So raise a cheer, and let the rafters sound:

No group surpasses “Down for the Count” renowned.
