Mary her cousin visited
To Elisabeth led
Mary said, My soul magnifies
The Lord, He me espies
And my spirit has rejoiced in
God my Saviour, within
I assured He has regarded
Me, His purpose not hid
Has looked on my, the lowly state
Of His handmaid not late
For, behold, from henceforth shall all
Generations me call
Blessed, for He that is mighty, He
Has done great things to me
And holy is His name, and His
Mercy on us, true this
HIs mercy is on them that fear
Him, who to Him draw near
From generation e\'en unto
Generation anew
And He has showed strength with His arm
Defended us from harm
And scattered those with their thoughts proud
Lowly to heights endowed
He has filled hungry with good things
His providings He brings
