When mountains shifted, roads fell silent
A province split, supplies grew thin
We thought COVID tested our strength
But isolation cut deeper, revealed within
We traced new paths, north to the States
For food and hope, we ventured out
A roundabout route, through foreign gates
Our community\'s resilience, sought without doubt
Trapped by earth, cut off from the land
We felt the weight of a distant band
But in our need, we found a closer tie
Neighbors became lifelines, strangers passed by
Temporary ties, a bridge to now
But when the storms come, will we somehow
Find our footing on shifting ground?
A province reunited, yet still unbound
In fear of floods, in wait of slides
We hold our breath, where mountains decide
Yet in our bonds, a different tide
A community woven, side by side
