The White Snow Of Nature Sonnet.

Upon the silent fields the white snow falls,

A gentle quilt laid soft by nature\'s hand,

It muffles every sound, the world enthrals,

Transforming dreary earth to sparkling land.

The branches bow beneath the icy lace,

While hedgerows don their winter\'s fine array.

A hush descends, a tranquil, hallowed grace,

Where footprints mark the wanderer\'s ballet.

The chilly air, so crisp, so pure, so clear,

Delights the soul and flushes rosy cheek.

Each flake unique, a miracle made here,

A fleeting beauty few of us may seek.

Dear snow, you teach our hurried hearts to slow,

And watch the quiet wonder as you grow.
