Daffodils
Daffodils of yellow, mellow in the rain.
Pretty little sunshine, soon to shine in May.
Pick and Ponder, yonder for your wondrous true love.
Share a moment, closely from heaven and above.
Listen to your heart, hark your shedding tears.
Everlasting, fragrance just for you my dear.
Remember only love in daffodils are here.
And like a dove her yellow and her purple wings forever fly so far and loom so closely near.
Dream my daffodil, of all the beauty here to hide,
And pick the stem so vainly, as midnight hour, Solemnly she cries.
And the purple moon, in the bluest sky,
Talks to me and daffodils tonight.
