Rev. Lord C.M. Bechard

The Weight of the Unspoken Dance

That moment I walked in

You made a tiny gasp

Your eyes widened

Thinking that

I wasn\'t going to show up.

I saw that.

That way your nostrils flare

As I walk past you

The smell of Me

Lingering in the air

Ever so lightly.

I noticed that.

That way your eyes

Keep meeting Mine

Across the room

When you think

I don\'t notice you

Watching Me.

I caught that.

That way your lips

Tremble as I approach

Meeting eye to eye

Telling you that I

Missed seeing you around

As you stumble

On your own words

Telling Me the same.

I acknowledged that.
