Nothing F_ cks You Harder Than Time

Relentless wheels of the sun turning,

Each shadow grows longer, swallows whole,

Skin once smooth, kissed by morning, fades.

The wrinkle carves its story, unkind crests.

Clock hands, merciless sculptors, stroke deeply,

Eyes that once blazed wear dim cloaks,

Limbs that leapt now bow to earth,

Time laughs loudest in the silent hours.

Memories flutter like leaves in wind,

Bright youth dissolving into gray mist,

Lovers’ hearts beat slower, tenderly cracked,

O ceaseless tide, erasing every shore.

Yet in the ruin blossoms life anew,

The pulse of stars whispers eternal breath,

Carried in veins of every fleeing hour,

Even as time fucks, it births, it sings.
