I don’t want to complain toooo much
I am thankful I see, breathe and hear
yet what I see, hear and think are affected
by what I feel on the outside
I don’t want to complain tooo much since
Truly I do love this world we live in
but the pain and suffering that others
went through, so we can gain freedoms
I don’t want to complain too much….
Here I go….
people would rather live life online
people rather judge than get to know
people would walk over a starving man
people continue to lie even while knowing
people love fiction more than real life
people care more about animals than us
people rather talk to robots than us
people like to see others suffer
people old do not help the youth
people youthful do not help the aging
people do not trust each other anymore
people do not understand ethics
people do not care for justice
people do not help each other anymore
people are still fighting each other
people are still jealous of each other
people are still hating each other
people are still unaware of unity
people are putting money over people
people are putting status over people
people are putting feelings over people
people are putting material over people
people do not care anymore…
people are scared
people are gatekeeping
people are causing fear
people are causing hysteria
people are hurting people
people don’t know how to make friends
people don’t know how to love anymore
people don’t know how to comprehend
people don’t know how to listen
people… sigh… that’s enough
maybe I’ve complained to much
but God is my witness and I long for us
to do better…
but nature has never complained
we continue to take and abuse and take
still, God allows us to wake up again…
