The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice
Let all praise Him with one voice
Let the many isles of earth be
Glad thereof, and worship free
Clouds and darkness around Him be
He who lives eternally
Righteousness and judgement they dwell
With Him at His throne, we tell
\'Tis the place where he inhabits
Throne\'s foundation, where He sits
A fire goes before Him, burns, see
Destroys all His enemies
His lightnings they lightened the world
The earth saw, and it trembled
The hills melted at His presence
Like wax when they did Him sense
Presence of Lord of the whole earth
Come, Praise Him, give Him His worth
The heavens declare that He be
Righteous, and the people see
His glory, and they ashamed who
Worship idols, those who do
Zion, Judah, they rejoiced, for
They knew His wise judgements sure
For you, Lord, are high above all
The earth, other gods shall fall
You that love the Lord, hate evil
The Lord preserves the souls still
Of His people, saves them from hands
Of the wicked in all lands
Light is sown for the righteous\' part
Gladness for upright in heart
Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous
