I wasn\'t going to post this,
I really don\'t want to see
Just how little the poetry world
happens to think of me.
I\'m not quick witted
Something like this takes time
To write out the story and then
Try to make it rhyme!
I do not have the courage
To post another one
I\'m afraid of the criticism
Hopefully this one turns out fun!
Though, for now I rest my pen
And I put my paper back
They go upon my writing desk
I\'ll stack them neatly in the back
Maybe once I get
The feedback I so want
I\'ll pick up my pen again
And give writing poetry another shot.
