God helps with the Washing.

It was Sunday Morning. Washing Day.
I had a few shirts and towels and things that needed washing.
I went to the laundry and started as usual.
I looked outside and dark clouds were forming.
It didn’t look good for drying on the line.
The bell rang and I carried the clothes to the line.
As soon as I hang the first shirt it started raining.
The sky was bright and sunny but it was still raining.
The Sun shower was really annoying.
Oddly enough the rain stopped as soon as I got inside.
So I thought okay I’ll try again.
As soon as I hang a few shirts the rain came back again.
I don’t know if I was hallucinating things but I thought I heard laughter.
It was coming from the sky.
“ Very funny God as soon as I go out it rains and when
I come inside it stops raining.”
Then I heard a voice say:
“I just needed you to know that I am in charge.
Suffering and the fear of death hasn’t worked with you
So I thought I’d try humour. Happy Washing Day.”
