after advice lent

and energy spent

after emotional rent

and gentle hearts bent

with frustrations to vent

within this environment

after being the one sent

sacrificed before Lent

as a spiritual arterial stent

the sanguine pressure’s pent

there’s no clarity on what it meant

yet I see who’s been absent.

sorry, Lord, my heart is rent
