The first warm breeze

The first warm breeze

on the last day of February

causes the city

a sigh of relief

after a grim winter,

a war next door,

dry wells,

unaccompanied underage refugees

and fentanyl addicts.

This poem doesn\'t have a message.

It\'s about

that first warm breeze

on the last day of February

after a grim winter.
