It drips through the cracks in the roof
Snarling and gurgling underneath the door
A thick black goop where nothing is foolproof
Trying to clean it up only makes more
It’s sizzling steam hurts anything it touches
Groaning and clanking it won’t go away
You push it with your broom which is now in its clutches
Your face in horror when it creeps down the hallway
Locking the door won’t stop it from arriving
Relentless and sinister it covers the room
Your heart pumps with no chance of surviving
It bubbles with a repugnant fume
No hope for you as it swallows you whole
Sadly it was all out of your control
