About Two Ram by Sergei Nikhalkov

Along a summer  steep mountain pathway

A browny lamb walked home very gay,

And on a humpbacked bridge  scattered

He met his big fat grayish  brother,

The greyish lamb politely said:

\"Brother, here is  the one thing, kidg:

The two can not get through the bridge -

You are standing straight in my way.

The brown brother replied: \"Be-be-be!

Are you in your right mind, ram? Let’s bet!

May my legs wither a rough mode,

If I may stray from the my road!”

One shook his horns, twisted involute,

The other stamped his feet tough…

No matter how you twist your horns,

The two of you can\'t get throw  thern.

The sun is blazing down from above,

And below flows a tempestuous river

In this river, early in the morning, knaves,

Two rams drowned, believe me!
