Tune: Melcombe
(\'New every morning is the love\')
Psalm 30 v.4-5 and v.10-12
***********
Sing to the Lord, you His people
And give thanks, remember you all
His holiness and purity
Nothing unrighteous with Him be
His anger endures a moment
But grace is to the penitent
In His favour is life, weeping
May last a night, but joy morn* brings (*morning)
Hear, O Lord, have mercy on me
Be you my helper, so I see
You have turned for me my mourning
From sadness now into dancing
You have put off my sackcloth, for
I had worn it in sorrows sore
You have girded me with gladness
I give you thanks and you I bless
So then my tongue sings praise to you
Your mercies you to me renew
I not silent, but shall praise give
And thanks to you who ever live
