The middle

The midnight moon it lingers yet,

Inside of time and space,

Its light a rose, a petal hence,

The stars in its embrace.

Bring me to the farthest point,

Where I shall dance and wander.

Unto the heavens there exploit,

Yet hell be down much farther.

Once of seen, both to dwell,

In neither heaven, nor in hell.

Then in the middle spirits sit,

To wait for will and wit.
