Dream Ghost Girl

I went to the park at dusk. There was no-one there,
I sat on a bench and breathed in the cool night air.
Out of the fog and mist came a beautiful girl,
She smiled at me and then danced a magical twirl,
She had on a white dress and flowers in her hair,
You could see through the white dress but she didn’t care.

She reached out for my hand and I stood up to dance ,
It was so strange I felt like I was in a trance,
It was very magical. It was the waltz,
I could even do all the moves without any faults,
Her golden blonde hair swayed in the cool gentle breeze,
She turned her head to kiss me and even said please.

The park lit up with more than ten thousand candles,
Yet I didn’t see the hooded gang of vandals,
They jumped around me and then pushed me to the ground,
I felt blood on my head and  heard a ringing sound,
They stole my wallet and kicked me and ran away,
I couldn’t move myself so I began to pray,

The lights came back and I saw the ghost girl again,
She touched my head softly and took away the pain,
With that gesture she vanished with the candle smoke,
I shook my head and it all felt like a sick joke,
I went to my lonely house on my lonely street,
I saw the Ghost girl and me in a world complete.

I dream some times of the Ghost girl and her magic,
And I wonder why God’s real world is so tragic.
