Silence Leads to Surrender of LifeĀ

Silence Leads to Surrender of Life

In the hush where shadows softly creep,

Silence weaves its solemn deep.

A quiet breath, a stillened sigh,

Where whispered dreams begin to die.

No thunder roars, no voices call,

Just empty echoes in the hall.

The heart once fierce, now slow and cold,

In silence, stories left untold.

It wraps around like velvet night,

A gentle cloak that dims the light.

Each pause a step toward letting go,

Where life’s bright flame begins to slow.

Yet in surrender, something grows—

A fragile peace that softly flows.

For silence, though it seems to bind,

Can free the soul and calm the mind.

But beware the silence that consumes,

The quiet that in darkness looms.

For when it leads to life’s retreat,

It marks

the end, a final beat.

Only when the lord says it\'s the final retreat.
