Stairs to Nowhere

Stairs climb sideways, upside, and around,

Figures walk where gravity is undone.

A world of doors that lead to nowhere bound,

Horizons twist beneath a slanting sun.

Figures walk where gravity is undone,

Heads tilt, and feet ascend what should descend.

Horizons twist beneath a slanting sun,

All rules of space and logic start to bend.

Heads tilt, and feet ascend what should descend,

Rooms overlap like thoughts that cannot stay.

All rules of space and logic start to bend,

A mirrored world where sense dissolves away.

Rooms overlap like thoughts that cannot stay,

Stairs climb sideways, upside, and around.

A mirrored world where sense dissolves away,

Figures walk where gravity is undone.
