Friendship and hope
Gratitude springs
Rich in colour
Optimism sings
For a future yet
To be unwound
Such dreams
Come crashing down.
The sunlight
Portrays the heart
A gentle man
With passion carved
Still believing
Before the cloud
Of depression
Loneliness is found.
The glowing petals
Cascading out
To greet the day
In hope to shout
But frustration fell
The flowers died
Judgement clouded
Deep tears cried.
