self serving as thee bonafide

deoxyribonucleic acid aid test,
and figurative benchmark
against which other animals
and plants arbitrarily
evaluated as guinea bay of pigs,
whereby gifted intelligence
bequeathed courtesy a host
of anonymous uber brilliant minds
launched kindled jump/kick started
one naked ape millenniums ago
unknown bipedal hominids coded
into our chromosomes and genes
for tens of thousands
of years present day twenty first century
wrought inxs of foo fighting beastie boys,
(who preceded us The Pollinators of Eden)
anthropocentric, clever, eccentric, and go getter
indomitable knuckleheads deeming themselves
superior over the realm of flora and fauna
begetting brainiacs magnitudes
smarter than the then simple minds
rocketing huddling mass of simians
capable of leap frogging videlicet
one clan of the cave bear
(ivy) leagues ahead of brethren,
where heredity spawned
mental acuity vis a vis punctuated equilibrium
bipedal hominids far and above
other hot pockets
of contemplative, furtive, and intuitive
hypothetical missing link
whereat by evolutionary leaps and bounds
one or more offshoots
of preternatural smart as a whip
genius of love codified,
deified, edified, fortified,
glorified, horrified, identified, et cetera
within a stone tablet magnum opus
wisdom accrued cumulative
and associative eureka phenomena
impressed upon vulnerable forerunners
that talked the talked and walked the walk
of nasty, short and brutish
of the self anointed noble beast
where edge of night insight
evoked monstrous dark shadows
across the outer limits of the twilight zone
dawned precursors of one civilization after another
vying for dominance across
the then known webbed wide world
where brainchild of self actualization
realized coveted criteria designating importance
in the hierarchy and arbitrary schema
wrought by self arrogated Kings of Leon
versus the Village People,
hence subsequent worth measured
and over-rated worthwhile to be kept alive
not who could twerk the best
but accretion of learning within temple mount
evaluated as important revelation
and hashtagged as most valuable
criteria as sentient beings
and children of a lesser god
abrogated mundane yapping like junkyard dogs
realizing thought provoking conversation
long fostered profound wisdom
subscribing value to knowledge
triggering understanding to coalesce
within the vaunted fifty shades of gray matter
housed within at times a numb skull,
but helmets adopted
by crash test dummies
abetted criminal minds
to be hashtagged
public enemy numero uno
thus a rudimentary
police led sting operation
uncovered inconvenient truth,
where earth in the balance Al Gore rhythms
contributed to little rascals
evolving into characters
out of a Stephen King novel cuz homie
