The mind is driven to act on impulse at subliminal suggestions made by powers in authority, within the scope of most accessibility and practicality. Affordability is no longer an aim, but a style - interjected by the style of luxury most out of reach for the layman. He is fed hopes and dreams, all aside the obligations he has to fulfilling a life of leisurely aptitude, while replacing attitude with feeling.
Suggestions are made compulsive. Otherwise, obligation would be dutifully prescribed by a society self-care, far too sufficient for large-scale capitalistic enterprise. All who are in business (the business of money making) have enacted obligation as a calendar-marked and scheduled quest rather than a way of life seeking virtue for its own sake.
Besides the reckless need to compound exponentially, souls have spoiled and those forced outside of business have been left recluse in their own right, rolling about within the confinements of a paternal deficiency regarded by those limited not by financial means, but profitability.
Heretofore subliminal messages meant the sublime cognition of desire made subconscious, whereas now these desires pervade every day consequence. The system has ratified an acute sense of responsibility, yet redacts the obligation of an ethical and intimate conscientiousness of effect. Man is no longer a social animal but by definition a cog in the machine. Perhaps for all of history this has been true, but never in such a way that obligation no longer extends any value besides its efficiency.
