What makes a person, a person?
Is it all the memories they\'ve made?
Of every state they\'ve been in, every version
They\'ve ever laid.
What makes a person think of one
In a certain way?
Is it all the actions they\'ve done,
Until the day we call today?
What defines a human being?
What makes us call them what they\'re called?
Is it all the places they\'ve been seeing
And all the souls they\'ve left enthralled?
Every moment they\'ve shared,
Whether up upon their sorrow,
Every heart they\'ve repaired,
And all the pieces left for tomorrow.
A person\'s name
Isn\'t just to identify,
It\'s their hall of fame,
And every voice they amplify.
A person\'s name
Holds all their miracles,
The story to what they became,
All expressed in a few syllables.
