Brode has called out all the shots for his old buddy Blake. Many of his high school friends never left town; so this is no longer looking like a drastic mistake. There’s his old buddy Steve who’s now a local cop. His parents were loyal customers to the old fashioned delight shop! Blake’s old buddy Ken has made himself well known. With his family and business rebuilding homes. So many have come through for Blake with much help; it’s happened overnight and now he thinks to himself; “too good to be true?” Something Bessy would say about things happening so fast. Blake stops those bad thoughts; “there’s no time for that” Bessy is just starting her day. She begins and ends always talking with God as she prays. Bessy has prayed every day that Blake can make this business venture work out. With help and proper guidance; as that’s what prayer is about. She’s learned there’s great power when we pray. For others well being. Not wishing harm. For God has the final say. Faith has come through more times than not; even if it’s not perfect; it’s God’s work of art! Blake is back at shop to see all those on board gathered together; donations and helping hands; that’s what makes this town thrive in becoming better. Looks like my chapter is done for today! I’ll see again another day!
