Rhyme to Unfeel

She appeared one day,

On my instagram page.

I hadn’t even met her yet,

But I knew exactly who she was.

You said you liked my smile,

I think her smile was brighter,

You said that I was kind,

She clearly looks much kinder.

I hate how her hair falls,

And frames her face so perfectly.

And the worst part is,

I’m sure she’s all smart and nice.

I’m sure she’s sweet and kind,

With the perfect amount of spice.

And if it wasn’t for you liking her,

I’m sure that I’d like her too.

But instead, I hate her,

She’s got me feeling blue.

I hate someone who I know not,

A fictional character I made up.

Are you the Westley?

To her princess Buttercup?

I’m writing rhymes to unfeel,

The feeling that turns my insides green.
