I thought, you would say: \"Farewell,\"

But instead you said: \"See you later.\"

Why? To wound me such deeplyer,

Or to sweeten my sorrow veil?

 

For a long, you lectured me ethics,

Indignation permeated your teach.

I listened to the murmuring of your speech,

Yet much of it I did not understand nix.

 

Why you cast that ruthless reproach

In your  utter words—so stern, so severe—

That I have known so many loves ever.

It is true, yet I myself am an alone beach.

 

I dreamed so much of finding you

Across life\'s vast and open meadow;

You could have been my dearest friend now,

But our paths diverged in few…
