For the one who holds it in day and night
Monday through all the way up to Sunday
And still shows up with a smile on her face
Still shows up caring for others and laughing
But silently
Keeping
it
All
Inside
Not wanting others to worried about her
She lies and says it\'s all fine
When in reality the pain within
She wants to just sit and cry
To punch something
To BE something
To love something
Still gets up and brushed her hair
texts back when she can
Do the things that makes it look like she is ok
Still laugh when someone joke
Even if it doesn\'t reach her chest
She eats enough. sleeps enough, talks enough, just enough
To not raise concern
Sometimes
She just stares at the ceiling long after the lights are off
Wondering how she got so good at pretending
The pain within beats and beats and continues rising up
Just for it to be shallowed out never to be seen
It\'s just a lonely world for her
For now, she shall not speak
And yet no one sees the pain
The tears
They blend so easily under the scars
So, no one has to know
The pain within
Is all she knows
