Freedom

Girls are running in green fields

In their floral dresses

Feeling summer breeze

Upon their rosy cheeks

They feel free

They are free

Away from thirsty lips

Away from ephemeral trysts

I\'m running home to me

And nothing of them

Obstructs my view of the sea

Of the suburbs and my city

I love now everything about me

I paint and I write

I take pictures of the sky

I see my dreams in real light

I feel the sun

Warming my once cold heart

A kind of loneliness

Only one who cherishes it ,

Can feel it

Now not a single scar

Can wound my spirit

Girls are running

But no fear forces them away

Just the smell of freedom

Lulls them softly

And lifts them

From needless feats

To branches of trees

To happiness\' shrieks

Hand in hand

They head towards the sun

Towards greener lands

And at the hill\'s precipice

They hug and they kiss

\"To meet again\" they all wish

And they part ways

For in life they see

Finding oneself

Is one woman\'s deed

Till they meet again

They meet to go back

At the hill\'s precipice

Where they once ran

So carelessly
