The Faces of Life

The Faces of Life

by purity muchoki

Life is a road of changing skies,
With tears that fall and joyful cries.
Some days shine bright like morning sun,
Some feel heavy when hope must run.

Happiness dances in laughter’s sound,
In little moments quietly found.
A smile, a friend, a peaceful night,
Tiny stars that bring us light.

Sadness walks with silent feet,
Turning strong hearts tired and weak.
It teaches lessons deep inside,
Like hidden waves beneath the tide.

Fear can rise like thunder near,
A shadow built from doubt and fear.
Dark halls, cold winds, uncertain days,
Mysterious nights and lonely ways.

Yet life keeps moving, wild and free,
A changing storm, a restless sea.
Through happy, sad, and scary days,
We grow and learn in countless ways.

So hold your courage through the night,
Because the dawn still brings its light.
For every tear and fear we face,
Life still carries hope and grace.
