Hey Hey Hey it’s your little buddy Little Snouty. The hardest working Pig in the Pen.
I was wallowing in the mud yesterday morning. There was early morning cool and mist.
I saw Molly coming over to my pen. Molly is my girl friend. Before she got half way the mean pigs
starting picking on her and pushing her.
I started running up and down the fence to try find a way out and help her.
Anyway over our pen is a human ladder that the farmer climbs to muck out the pen some times.
The pigs are not allowed to use it because its designed for legs not little trotters.
But Molly was in trouble and I had to find a way out.
Molly was crying now so I started to climb the human ladder one rung at a time. It was difficult, I’m not good at balancing. But after a while I got to the top of the fence.
Oh Oh Oh the top of the fence was so high. I got dizzy and fell crash to the ground. I hit my head on a rock and went to sleep.
While I was a sleep I heard voices.
“Hello Snouty don’t be afraid. This is your Mother. I am here to tell you a few things. I thought I was dead .Mum voice was like an angel.
No you are not dead Snouty I am in a happy place and I am preparing a space for you but you have some more living to do first.
Snouty I was taken from you when you were very young.I didn’t get to tell you how much I really love you. I didn’t tell you that you are my new life. You are my eternity.You are all my joy and happiness all in one.
Now Snouty there are things in this Life that you must be careful of. You mustn’t climb the fence .Stay in you pen and look after your Dad and Molly will be fine.
There will be times when you doubt yourself. There will be times when the burden of Life becomes too much and you feel like everywhere is darkness. But I am here preparing the place for you so you need not worry. Listen to your Dad and be a good little pig.
I woke up then. The VET doctor gave me some medicine and I am fine again.
Molly escaped the mean pigs and was waiting for me to wake up. She’s such a kind piggy.
I told her what my Mother said in my dream and she said we better be kind to each other for heaven’s sake.
