Sometimes the villain isn\'t fantasy,
And they still strive in our world.
In the absence of their powers,
They use weapons here called \"words\".
Sometimes the villain is our reflection,
Or the closest ones we know.
The one called \"mine forever\",
Could be the one holding the sword.
The pain isn\'t external;
It\'s a story in your eyes,
It\'s the aching blood your heart pumps
From your head down till your thighs.
Sometimes the villain peeks through the pages,
Or the television screens,
And they hop into reality,
Lurking out in the unseen.
Sometimes the villain isn\'t fantasy,
They\'re the ones held in between.
The silent gaps after each word,
And every pixel on the screen.
